| Fog Fest Volunteers | |
Organizing an event of this magnitude encompasses a multitude of arenas, and a significant way in which one can support the Fog Fest is to assist us in one of these areas. |

MUSIC - Those of you who have been attending the Fog Fest on a regular basis, will have noticed that the musical element has come to play a bigger role every year, and that the quality has improved immensely. With increase quantity and quality also comes a greater need of assistance. As a result, the music committee is on the lookout for assistant stage managers this year. |
BLOCK CAPTAINS - One of our major yearly recruiting efforts involves signing up people to be Block Captains. We have a good basis, as all our non-profit organizations also contribute one of their members for this task. Cindy from
Curves, a business in Eureka Square, signs up another substantial group for us. Despite that, however, the schedule still has openings every year. So if you feel inspired to walk around for a couple of hours, be a first contact with the
public, meet old friends and new, and get to know the vendors, please consider volunteering in this capacity. |

PARADE - Another important task we need help with is getting the parade organized on Saturday morning. The parade has grown over the years, and the logistics in organizing the line-up and in having the parade progress flawlessly requires the help of many hands. Assisting with this event will give you a chance to become acquainted with many of the organizations in and around Pacifica. |
FUN FEST - The Family Fun Fest, a "free play festival" which emphasizes participation and a sense of community through competitive and cooperative play, takes place on Sunday afternoon at Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School. The Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department, who organizes this event, invites anyone who would like to lend them a hand, or who is interested in the training for game leaders, to contact Mike Perez at 738-7389. |
